I am an academic, teacher, and writer from Bogotá, Colombia. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Political Science from the University of British Columbia, MA and MPhil degrees in philosophy from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium, and a PhD in philosophy from The New School for Social Research. After completing my PhD, I was a Postdoctoral Teaching Fellow at Fordham University as well as a Fall 2024 Guest Resident at the Woodward Residency in Ridgewood, NY. Currently, I am a Fondecyt Postdoctoral Fellow at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile where I am developing a research project on the notion of affectivity in the French Spiritualist tradition.
