Miguel José Paley
Hello and welcome to my website! My name is Miguel José Paley. I hold a PhD in philosophy from The New School for Social Research and I am currently a Fondecyt Postdoctoral Fellow at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Below, you can find information about me, my research, my teaching, and other things related to my academic interests.
Research
My research explores the notions of subjectivity and affectivity, with particular emphasis on the work of Henri Bergson and phenomenology.
Teaching
Over the years I’ve taught courses in things like Existentialism, Latin American Philosophy, Bergson, Phenomenology, Issues of Life and Death, and more. Here you can find some of my syllabi and other course material.
